NexGard – Dog – Tick and Flea – 25 – 50kg

NexGard® (afoxolaner) is a soft chew that kills fleas and ticks, effectively preventing infections that lead to Lyme disease. It eliminates infected black-legged ticks before they can transmit the infection. Furthermore, each beef-flavored chew provides a full month of protection, and dogs love the taste, making it easy to give.

NexGard protects puppies as young as eight weeks, weighing four pounds or more, with FDA approval. NexGard is for dogs only. However, common side effects include vomiting, itching, lethargy, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Although researchers haven’t evaluated NexGard in pregnant, breeding, or lactating dogs, vets recommend caution for dogs with a history of seizures or neurological disorders.
